Alexandra Sokolova, MD
Dr. Alexandra Sokolova, M.D., Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Hematology/Medical Oncology at Oregon Health & Science University School of Medicine, specializes in caring for men with prostate cancer. She values the unique connection she builds with each patient, guiding them through diagnosis, treatment and survivorship—addressing all aspects of health and ensuring access to therapies that make sense for each individual. Her special interests include prostate cancer genetics; she completed the Intensive Course in Cancer Genetic Risk Assessment at City of Hope and trained at Memorial Sloan Kettering’s Genetics Clinic. Her research focuses on improving quality of life for men with prostate and hereditary cancer syndromes.
Outside of work, Dr. Sokolova and her husband enjoy time with their daughter and two cats. She also loves hosting friends and family, gardening and practicing yoga.
