Sarah Larson Larson

Dr. Sarah Larson is an Associate Professor in the Division of Hematology-Oncology at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and is the Medical Director of Immune Effector Cell Therapy Program at UCLA. She received her medical degree from the University of Minnesota and completed her postgraduate training at the University of Chicago and UCLA. During her fellowship at UCLA, Dr. Larson studied the function of chimeric antigen receptors in hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells under the mentorship of Dr. Donald B. Kohn. Her research focuses on development of novel therapeutics for multiple myeloma and approaches to overcome mechanisms of resistance to immune effector cell therapy. In her role as Medical Director of the Immune Effector Cell Therapy Program, she oversees all commercial CAR-T product administration and immune effector cell therapy clinical trials.
