Ariel Nelson, MD, MS
Dr. Ariel Nelson, MD, MS, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) and a dedicated hematologist and medical oncologist within the Froedtert & MCW health network. She specializes in treating adult patients with genitourinary cancers, including bladder, kidney, prostate, and testicular cancers. Dr. Nelson earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine in 2013. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at MCW from 2013 to 2016. Following this, she pursued a fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, from 2016 to 2018, where she also served as Chief Fellow from 2018 to 2019. Furthering her education, Dr. Nelson obtained a Master of Science in Clinical and Translational Science from MCW between 2019 and 2021. She is actively involved in clinical research, focusing on genitourinary malignancies.
