Brad Haverkos, MD

I am currently an Associate Professor within the Division of Hematology at the University of Colorado. I completed my Oncology fellowship training at Ohio State University, where I completed a Master’s degree in Medical Science and a NIH sponsored post-doctoral fellowship with an emphasis on immunology, virology, biostatistics, and clinical trial design. I specialize in high-risk lymphomas and cellular/immune based therapies with a focus on mature T and NK-cell lymphoproliferative disorders. Since beginning my faculty appointment, I have developed a clinical and research program for mature T and NK-cell lymphoproliferative disorders and co-direct our multidisciplinary cutaneous lymphoma clinic. I am principal investigator of multiple lymphoma clinical trials, specifically focusing on immunotherapy and biomarker driven clinical trials. Stemming from my laboratory experience as a post-doctoral fellow but having selected a more clinical focus as a lymphoma investigator, my strategy for translational discovery is to assemble a cohesive team working to improve our understanding of the use of immunotherapy for the treatment of T-cell lymphomas.
