Dr Shatha Farhan is a stem cell transplant and cellular therapy physician at Henry Ford Health. She is also assistant professor at Wayne state university and Michigan State University. She received her training in SCTCT at Fred Hutch and MD Anderson cancer centers. She is a principal investigator of multiple PI initiated studies. Her interests include increasing diversity in transplant recipients by breaking the HLA barrier, and in applying machine learning and deep learning methods to improve the outcome of SCT and cellular therapy. She is also the program director of Stem Cell Transplant, Cell & Gene Therapy fellowship at Henry Ford Health.
