Christopher Willner, D.O.

Dr. Willner attended Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he earned his D.O., completed his internal medicine residency at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan, and completed his Hematology & Medical Oncology fellowship at Henry Ford Health, Detroit. During fellowship, Dr. Willner was a fellow member of the Scientific Review Committee, participated in publishing molecular outcomes-related research in acute myeloid leukemia, and composed a smoldering myeloma investigator-initiated study under the mentorship of the hematology faculty. Since joining the faculty at Henry Ford Health, Detroit, Dr. Willner has focused upon leukemia and myeloid diseases, and is principal investigator on acute myeloid leukemia, myelodysplasia, and myeloproliferative disease clinical trials. He is an assistant professor at Wayne State University School of Medicine, Michigan State University College of Human Medicine, and Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Willner's clinical and research interests are in acute myeloid leukemia, particularly in therapeutic targets and applied novel combinations.
