Dr. Ramadas completed her medical school in Kerala, India, and an Internal medicine Residency and Hematology-Oncology Fellowship at the State University of New York at Syracuse, NY. She is board-certified in Internal medicine, hematology, and medical oncology. She has been working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Hematology-oncology at LSU-Health Shreveport/Feist-Weiller cancer center since 2020. She also serves as the associate program director of the hematology-oncology fellowship program and is the co-director of the adult sickle cell disease program. Areas of interest include hematological malignancies and sickle cell disease and oversees clinical trials involving these at her institution.
