Dr. Andrew Green is a native of Ruston, Louisiana.  He attended medical school at LSU Shreveport.  He then completed a Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Universty Hospitals of Cleveland, Case Western Reserve Universty In Cleveland OH. This was followed by a Fellowship in Gynecologic Oncolgy at Cleveland Clinic.  He spent 17 years in private practice where was on multiple publications for GOG and NRG cooperative trials.  He helped establishe a residency in General Surgery and helped to build and then lead one of the premier Robotic Surgical programs in the country.  His desire to teach has led him back to his home region and his alma mater.  He is currently the Division Director of Gynecologic Oncology at LSU Shreveport and is heavily involved in educating the physicians of tomorrow.
