Dr. Mills is the Emeritus Director of the Feist-Weiller Cancer Center.  He is the George and Sandra Bakowski Professor of Aerodigestive Malignancy.  Dr. Mills graduated from the University of Mississippi school of medicine in 1974. He did his Internal Medicine residency at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii and his Hematology/Oncology fellowship training at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Tx. He has been a faculty at LSUHS-Shreveport since 1986.  Currently his research interests are in the genomic sequencing of cancers to aid in targeted therapies.
