Alejandro Recio-Boiles, MD, FACP
Dr. Alejandro Recio-Boiles is an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Hematology and Medical Oncology Department of the University of Arizona School of Medicine. He is a physician-scientist with Genitourinary and Early-Phase Drug Development research programs and provides care to cancer patients at the University of Arizona Cancer Center. Dr. Recio-Boiles completed his Medical School at the Universidad Autonoma de San Luis Potosi, Mexico, Postdoctoral Molecular Translational Research at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, and an Internal Medicine Residency at The Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City. He finalized his Hematology and Medical Oncology fellowships training at the University of Arizona, Tucson, where he now serves as Assistant to the Director of Community Outreach and Engagement, the Arizona Clinical Trial Network, and the Hematology and Medical Oncology Fellowship programs. Dr. Recio-Boiles is focused on understanding the health disparities that GU cancer patients encounter from their biology to access to care.
