Dr. Willis H Navarro is a Clinical Professor of Medicine at Banner University Medical Center-Tucson in the Division of Hematology/Oncology. He has been in practice managing patients with hematologic malignancies for over 25 years. Following medical school at UCSF, Dr Navarro trained in Internal Medicine at Yale-New Haven Hospital and in Hematology/Oncology and marrow transplantation at UCSF where he also was a faculty member for 6 years. While maintaining a clinical practice, Dr. Navarro's career includes senior roles in clinical development at Genentech, Atara Biotherapeutics, Aadi BioScience, and Nurix Therapeutics and at the National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP). Dr. Navarro resides in Arizona and enjoys cooking, travel, hiking, and time with family and friends.
