Dr. Yuqi Zhang was born in China, and lived in 4 different states. She received her Bachelors of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University followed by a dual MD/PhD from the University of Toledo. She then came to complete her residency in internal medicine and stayed for a hematology/oncology fellowship at Houston Methodist. She has done basic and clinical research in both solid tumor oncology and hematology, has presented at international conferences and co-authored several publications in GI oncology, immunotherapy, and bone marrow transplant.
