Dr. Lacey Williams is an Assistant Professor at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. She specializes in the care of patients with acute leukemias and myeloid malignancies, with interests in germline syndromes and improving outcomes for minority populations. Dr. Williams earned her MD from the Medical College of Georgia and completed her residency and fellowship at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital. She chose the field of oncology for the combination of close patient relationships and opportunities for scientific advances in the field.
