Dr. Narendranath Epperla is an Associate Professor in the Division of Hematology and Hematologic Malignancies, Department of Medicine, at the Huntsman Cancer Institute - University of Utah. He is the Associate Chief of Clinical Research and Director of Phase 1 Clinical Trials program – Hematologic Malignancies. He specializes in treating patients with lymphoid malignancies (i.e. non-Hodgkin lymphoma and Hodgkin lymphoma).

Dr. Epperla is actively involved in cancer research. His research interests focus on conducting early phase clinical trials using novel drug combinations to treat patients with lymphoid malignancies and identify blood-based biomarkers that can predict treatment response. He is the national principal investigator on several investigator initiated trials and consortium studies. He is an active participant within the Alliance Lymphoma Committee and the National Clinical Trials Network.

Dr. Epperla is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Society of Hematology, American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Society for Transplantation and Cellular Therapy, and the American Association for Cancer Research. He has authored over 180 peer-reviewed publications and is on the editorial board of several high-impact journals such as Journal of Hematology and Oncology, BMC Medicine, and Frontiers in Immunology.
