Dr. Wesam Ahmed is Program Director of the Sarah Cannon Transplant & Cellular Therapy Program at TriStar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. He previously served as Chair of Hematology and Medical Oncology at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, where he established the UAE’s first hematology-oncology fellowship, expanded the faculty, and built comprehensive programs in transplantation, cellular therapy, and clinical research. Dr. Ahmed earned his Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biophysics at Virginia Commonwealth University, completed postdoctoral research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute/Harvard Medical School, and trained in internal medicine at Brown University and in hematology/oncology at Tufts Medical Center.
