Mohammed BUKARI
Dr. Bukari is an Associate Clinical Professor in Hematology and Oncology, at UCSF-Fresno. He is the Director of the Sickle Cell Program at Community Cancer Institute. He is board certified in internal medicine, pediatrics, hematology and medical oncology with expertise in malignant hematology and hemoglobinopathies/thalassemia. He completed his residency in internal medicine/pediatrics at Wayne State University. In fellowship, he trained in hematology and medical oncology from Wayne State University at Karmanos Cancer Institute, during which he served as chief fellow. Dr. Bukari is a recipient of the 2021 Henry J. Kaiser Award for Excellence in Teaching, UCSF-Fresno. He is a member of the American Medical Association, American Society of Clinical Oncology, and the American Society of Hematology. Dr. Bukari’s research interests include adolescent/young adult Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL), myeloproliferative disorders, and sickle cell disease.
