Dr. Padmaja Mallidi was born in India and graduated from Guntur Medical College, University of Health Sciences in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, India. She completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at New York Methodist Hospital, affiliated with Cornell University Medical Center in New York, New York. Dr. Mallidi then did her subspecialty training in hematology and medical oncology at West Virginia University Hospital in Morgantown, West Virginia. 

She has been practicing at Blue Ridge Cancer Care in Roanoke since 2003. She cares for patients with multiple different cancers with special interest in lung cancer and hematologic malignancies.

She also serves as a member of the cancer committee for Carilion and conducts Cancer survivorship series for patients and families.

She has a passion for holistic care and did integrative medicine fellowship at Univ of Arizona through Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine.

She enjoys spending time with family in Roanoke enjoying the Blue Ridge mountains.
