Nathan Roberts, MD
Dr. Nathan Roberts is originally from Marion, VA, a small town in rural Southwest Virginia where he attended Marion Senior High School. After high school he attended Virginia Tech where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in both Biology and Biochemistry as well as a minor degree in leadership and social change. He earned his medical degree (MD) from Wake Forest School of Medicine. After medical school he completed a residency in internal medicine at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center where he was nominated to serve as a 4th-year chief resident for the internal medicine program. Upon completion of his residency training Dr. Roberts went on to complete his fellowship training in hematology and medical oncology at the University of Virginia.
Dr. Roberts joined the UVA clinical faculty as an associate professor of medicine in August 2024. Dr. Roberts is board-certified in both hematology and medical oncology. He specializes in the diagnosis and management of a variety of lymphoid malignancies, including both Hodgkin and non-Hodgkin lymphoma. He has particular clinical and research interests in the mature T/NK-cell neoplasms, formerly known as the peripheral T-cell lymphomas, as well as cutaneous T-cell lymphoma.
