Thuy Ho, MD

Dr. Thuy Ho, MD, is an assistant professor of medicine at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine. In her clinic at Massey Comprehensive Cancer Center, she specializes in treating patients with acute leukemia and myeloid malignancies. Her research focus is in community-oriented clinical trials for acute lymphoblastic leukemia and improving access to trials for patients from across Virginia's many different geographic areas. After receiving her bachelor of science at Yale University and completing a research fellowship at the NIH, Dr. Ho returned to Virginia, where she earned her medical degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine, before completing her internal medicine residency and hematology/oncology fellowship at VCU. She grew up in Northern Virginia and has now settled in Richmond, where she enjoys exploring the banks of the James River and the multitude of creative eateries.
