Leonid Volodin, MBBS, Associate professor of medicine
Leonid Volodin is an Associate professor at the University of Virginia, Charlottesville.
After having completed his medical school education at the University of Melbourne, Australia, he proceeded to internal medicine training, subsequently relocating to US and continuing with residency and Hematology/Oncology fellowship at LSU, Shreveport, Louisiana and subsequently Stem cell transplant fellowship at Stanford hospital and clinics, Palo Alto, California.
He has been one of the initial members of the current stem cell transplant team at the University of Virginia, participating in program building and treating patients at UVA since 2013. His current focus is on transplant and cellular therapies for lymphoid malignancies and multiple myeloma, as well as application of cellular therapies for non-malignant conditions.
