Ross Harrison, MD, MPH

Dr. Harrison is an assistant professor of gynecologic oncology at OHSU who cares for patients with cervical, endometrial, ovarian, and other gynecologic cancers. He earned his medical degree from the University of Florida, completed residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, and a four-year fellowship in gynecologic oncology at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, where he also earned a Master of Public Health. Dr. Harrison believes in working closely with the patient and their other doctors to provide high quality care through a multidisciplinary approach that is aligned with the patient’s priorities and preferences. Dr. Harrison’s primary clinical practice is at the Knight Cancer Institute at OHSU in Portland. As part of a clinical partnership between OHSU and the Asante health system, he helps ensure individuals in southern Oregon and northern California have access to gynecologic cancer care. Dr. Harrison's research interests include cost-effectiveness evaluation, decision analysis, financial toxicity, and socioeconomic predictors of cancer treatment outcomes.
