Dr. Yazan Samhouri is the Director of Cell Therapy Program at Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center, specializing in lymphoma, hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, and novel cellular immunotherapies. He earned his medical degree from the University of Jordan, completed his internal medicine residency at Rochester Regional Health in Rochester NY, and went on to complete a fellowship in hematology and oncology at Allegheny Health Network in Pittsburgh PA.

Dr. Samhouri’s research focuses on lymphoid malignancies and the use of cell therapy for both hematologic and solid tumors. He has served as principal and sub-investigator on multiple clinical trials, with a commitment to expanding access to innovative therapies such as CAR T-cell therapy, TCR-engineered T cells, and tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs) for patients with difficult-to-treat cancers.
